Support: every purchase includes 90 days of email help from the day you buy — installing it, importing your catalogue, or anything that isn’t behaving. Write to contact@authororbit.co.uk and we aim to reply within two working days. Beyond 90 days we’ll still answer, but it stops being a commitment; genuine faults we’ll fix whenever you find them.
What’s not included: a schedule of new features. AuthorOrbit is a finished app that works independently on your machine and has a How To section covering every feature.
A note on the AI features
Some features — royalty-statement reading, character snapshots, Plot & Character Bibles, the Conflict Engine, Chronology, chapter synopses and Social Posts drafting — use AI through your own Anthropic API key. You pay Anthropic directly for what you use, usually about £1–3 a month for an active writer and pennies for a light user.
There’s no AI charge from us, and every other feature works with no key at all. Chronology even has a no-AI mode that builds a rougher timeline entirely on your own machine.
What you need to run it
AuthorOrbit needs Node.js installed on your computer — a free, one-time setup step. If that’s not your thing, add done-for-you setup and we’ll hand you a working app.
Windows and Mac are both supported. It’s a private, single-author tool — one shared password per install, no multi-user logins — so it’s for you on your own machine or home network, not shared cloud access.
Spend less time on the business. More time on the book.
One simple one-off price, and it’s yours to keep.
